Light bar placement on My Dump Body

    i am about to get a new Led Light bar for my dump body but i wasn't sure where you have to put it does it go on top of the dump body or on top of the cab? I have heard on the dump body. Vise-versa.:dizzy:

    JUst so you know this is NOT my photo blah blah blah...... :dizzy:
    Also sorry the only one i could find was one with a salt spreader!

    I think it would look better, plus better visibility on the dump body.

    It depends how many lights you are putting on the truck. If you are only going to have the one mini lightbar, then I would mount it on the dump body. But if you are going to put recessed strobes on the back of the dump body then you could probably get away with just mounting it to the cab. Either way, you will get the most warning power by mounting it to the dump body.

    You will have a long wire to run from the cab and then up the body. Further your light will be subject to loading damage on the dump body. Normally I see them on the cab
