Man oh man. I've finally seen the light. I will NEVER use heavy trimmers ever again. I've absolutely fallen head over heals for an old 22t Shindaiwa. I can use this sucker one handed behind my back with no discomfort! Lol.
Now I like a heavy edger and Ill continue to use my Stihl 110 when edging, but man a quality light trimmer makes all the difference!

you should try a husqvarna 323 or 326. lightest trimmer made at 9lbs.

In the winter I will take a light trimmer here in FL but if you are doing any type of like mowing with it in the growing season a monster trimmer is so much faster.

The T 35 T 350 is a trimmer, by far the finest trimmer I have ever owned. I use the T350 one handed by the way and if it don't kill you it will only make you stronger.

few knew about the shin 22t as it wasnt marketed well. was sold as a home pro model and few dealers stocked them. its a very high quality ultra lite trimmer. i have one but usually use my robin when my back acts up . even better but unkown is the shind 22t hedge trimmer. ultra light shind quality. easy the best light weight hedge trimmer you could buy. you could use it all day with no fatige. of course echo discontinued this line as soon as they took over shind as it was far better than their line of crap that they sell at home cheapo

Yep - once you use one you'll never be the same. Then it breaks and you buy another one because you're hooked.
