I am interested in offering landscape lighting in Raleigh NC. What I am hoping is to find a company in NC that will let me install a system with them to get some hands on experience. What I am offering is free labor in exchange for OJT. I am very mechanically inclined and have a strong work ethic. I am also very eager to learn and respect the fact that I need to know what I am doing both in terms of installing and design before I take on paying customers. I am very interested in lighting because it seems to offer a chance to be creative.

    * I said NC but could potentially drive into Virginia or SC

    Thanks, Thomas

im from vegas... I would take 100+ and dry over this 90 with 80% humidity crap. In the dry heat you dont even break a sweat til its 90 degrees. I worked outside 65 hours a week plus in vegas no probs as long as you drink lots of fluid.

Here your run down and soaked with sweat by 10am.

    humidity sucks

You can't compare dry heat to heat plus humidity. With dry heat you can wear long sleeves and headwear to protect from sunburn. With the humidity it feels like you are carrying around an extra person on your back all day. :dancing:

AMEN to that. I was just stating I preffer the dry heat. Sure you still stink at the end of a hard day but your not all slimy like you are down here.
