I was checking my specs on my 23 Kaw L/C an it shows I have a 37 amp alternator. The cooling fan takes 15-20 amps and the clutch 6 amps so on the high side that should be 26 amps. Would I have enough amperage left to run 2 55 watt lights or should I run just one? I will be running the lights through a 30 amp relay.

    Fivestar,

A 55 watt bulb will generally pull around 9 amps a piece. I would recommend looking at some of the 35 watt lights that are available. Our light kit that mounts to the new ROPS run 35 watts a piece.

    Thanks

    9 amps a piece, at 12 volts?
    I'd refigure that.
    Amps X Volts = Watts
