I need to find a backpack blower that is light enough for my wife to use in helping me with fall cleanups but also powerful enough to move the leaves. Any suggestions?

Yup Stihls BR600 or Echo PB-755H Both are great blowers. Both around the same price as well.

Do you have a brand preference? I use the Echo PB 755, it states that it weighs 26 lbs, but it doesnt really seem all that heavy when you have it strapped on your back. Stihl also has a unit that weighs around 20 lbs or so.

My Redmax 5000 weighs in @ 20 lbs. dry weight. Not as powerful as the larger models, but will do all that your wife can handle with it. :usflag:

One choice, Stihl BR 600 best power to weight rate ratio on the market.

    Ditto

Anything smaller will take SOOOOOO much longer that your wife might as well stay home in bed.

I got rid of all my Back Pack blowers that didn't say "REDMAX 8001" on them. The last time I used a 7001 to blow dry my car I felt like I was wasting my time.
