like to try liquid iron on my lawn

    i like to try liquid iron on my own lawn.
    can someone give me tips on applicating it?
    gpm
    how lawn till i see results?
    rate?
    cost/m?

    i would be useing my 50 gal. lesco tank sprayer that is set up for 2 gal/m

    Our soils here in the upper Midwest tend to be alkyline and therefore, suffer from mild iron defficiency. The use of a liquid chelated iron supplemant will have almost an immediate reaction (within a day) and darken the green color of a lawn. The NE area tends to have acidic soils and, therefore, I suspect that you do not tend to have iron deficiencies. The benefits of a chelated liquid iron app in your area probably will not match the dramatic change we see here. Also, greenup due to the use of iron does not last. It is quick acting and quickly dissapates. Within a couple of days to a week the effect wears off. Good reading, good luck and good evening.
