I always like to get my lime out about a month before estimated seeding so it will have some time to get into the soil. As for fertilizing.... I've done it a week after seeding, at seeding, and thinking about doing it a week before seeding(time permitting with maybe speedzone to clean things up). I've never been able to tell much difference with my fertilizer timing. Seems fescue germination success is all dependent on rainfall and customer irrigation!!

What is your plan of attack or what works best for you?

On irrigated lawns, I'm planning on spreading my fert. at the time I over-seed. Lime was put down in late July.
