I had a soil test comeback with both calcium & magnesium levels high witha ph of 4.7. Which type of lime would work best- calcitic or dolomitic?

  2. what was the base saturation given?

I dont think so, are you sure the calcium and magnesium levels are not low instead of high. Ca and Mg both raise pH and if their levels where high the pH would probably be also. also, if Cal and magnesium levels are high, you wouldnt be adding lime.
