Is there a way to link multiple MS Works spreadsheets so that info entered in one spreadsheet will change the info in others that contain the same field? I'm trying to link a spreadsheet used for daily schedule info to a so that when it's entered, it will automatically enter times, etc. in the client spreadsheet.

    Thanks,

You have to set up a database. I know in Excel/Word/and Access they will cross communicate between applications. I am almost 100% sure MSWorks does the same thing just not to the advanced scale of Access. It does allow for the kinds of applications that most of us do run into...

    stonewall,

the greatest part is you can sinc these database files to your PDA and have access in the field. Works great for client forms if you have a little application savy.

By the way how are those Eagles. I am a grad of MSU and am really missing the baseball this year...College baseball isn't the same once you cross the mason dixon...

    Gary,

Thanks for the help. I'm new to the database world and will have to work on that.

USM is doing alright. Not a big baseball fan, but they started practice a couple of weeks ago.

    Stonewall,

I checked on my other computer and MS works has a database application. There should be some sample applications you can play with to understand how they work. It's pretty simple once you get over the fear of losing your data. Just backup your data every day and experiment with different layouts.

    Give it a try...

I purchased new computer for the wife in jan. real nice setup came with windows XP - home . it has ms works spreadsheet, word processor and database.

I hated them, ended up going out and getting MS office package. now back to word, excel and access plus most of the others. I'm glad i did.

    Thanks for the help.

I'm heading out of town for a few days and will try it when I get back.
