Not hardscaping, but this is probably my best chance for an answer. My family belongs to an RC racing club. I help them with the track. The track is basically baseball diamond clay. Supposed to be a 80/20 clay/sand mix. The issue is that the cars bring up the sand and it requires a ton of maintenance. We were discussing ways to lock the material a little better to reduce the surface loosening. We discussed mixing in lime and even heard that a competing track was using coca cola. We started discussing chemical binders, but were not real sure how it would work out. Does anyone have any ideas of possible products that might be beneficial? The track is exposed outdoors.
