little wonder starting problem

    have little wonder blower with a briggs engine on it. im having trouble starting it. it takes forever for it to start, my arm is numb from it. i've been spraying some starter fluid in it and it eventually starts up after many pulls

    Fuel problem, check choke or prime. Also make sure your using fresh gas!!!

    yea i play with the choke and throttle and yes the gas is fresh

    First thing stop using that starter fluid on it. You will only make the problem worse. Using starter fluid on small engines does more harm that good. I do not even like to see it used on cars. The stuff is bad news. Check the spark plug, it could be fouled. If you have another plug change it. You would be amazed how often it is nothing more than a bad spark plug. Check the air filter.

    Need more information on the engine. Age? Model?

    model #135212 5hp briggs maybe 6-7years old

    If it won't start right up on starting fluid (which is a no no as mentioned) a compression test is in order, Could have worn valves/guides or even rings.

    is it possible to swap the 5hp out with an 8 hp or greater engine
