This may seem a bit unorthodox, but has anybody had experience with loading a walkbehind from a truckbed down to a trailer and then down the trailer ramps. I have a 10 foot trailer and would like to add a walk behind to my arsenal but am trying to keep from buying a double axle trailer. Is it possible to do or is it one of those things that's just too shaky to make it worth your while?

I own a 14 foot single axle from Doolittle. You can get single axle larger than 10 ft.

yes it can be done, ya just have make sure your truck sits a little higher than the trailer floor which most do

will your tailgate come all the way down? With my last trailer the tailgate hit the post on the trailer and wouldn't come all the way down. Would of made it tough to get a walk behind off that way, even if I could the post would of been in the way.

Friend of mine does that he puts ramps from trailer to tailgate and runs the walk behind up. 5 x 8 trailer to a 2 ton dump. This lets him get 2 walkbehinds and a rider to go with him with only a 5 x 8 trailer.

You could add a front gate to your trailer. Something like this
