I'm trying to figure out a logo. I'm not exactly an artist, if you guys could help me out it would be appreciated. My business name is Scottscape Lawn Maintenance. My cards have a tree on them and my color scheme is blue. I thought of something like that. I wish I had a scanner. what is the best program for making things like this?

    thank you,
    Scott

adobe illustrator is what I used along with photo shop. you can see mine in my avatar. if your not artistic you may want to place a ad on ELance.com and you should get about 30 mockups. Or if you PM me I can give you the name of a guy who does great work pretty reasonably

suggestion. I got the people who lettered my truck to come up with a logo based on my idea. They did it for $60 per hour. 1.5 hours later I had a logo that I think is pretty good.

Precision, that was a good investment. I like that logo. Do you have your phone number in larger type on your tailgate and trailer tailgate?

I don't have it at all on my trailer.

I have it the same size on my tailgate and I have it on my rear window as well.

I didn't want it bigger. I think too big is gaudy. Understated and classy was my goal.

Precision I think that looks great. Nice and clean and to the point without going overboard. I often think of redoing mine with something simpler. They are working on it this weekend at the graphics place that does my shirts. I still got magnetics on my truck now but I'm going to get a new titan if things keep looking up this spring.

Thanks. I don't know if it will help with getting business, but I like it and my guys seem to be more aware of image as well.
