Do most of you guys have a schedule for replacement of pine needles and mulch based on your contracts, or do you do as needed based on your judgement? Also, for you what is the average life of mulch (dyed and non-dyed) and pine needles before they need to be replaced? I usually do 12 months on both types of mulch and 4-6 months on pine needles.

I would do any type of mulch on a biannual basis.
