Need a couple of opinions, I'm looking at a used Gravely 272z. It's an 2004 I think and has about 860 hours of commercial use on it for $2850.
Has the turbo diesel and has been rebuilt by the dealer its at. They sold it new and it broke #1 rod and sent parts thru the block and oil pan... They have since "patched" block in the area behind the injection pump..(can't see it ) It runs well and has about 10 hours mowing the lawn at the shop on the motor since the repair, I know that I shouldn't consider buying this mower with the engine like this BUT what should I offer them, knowing a replacement engine is about $5500.00? ?

    HELP????
