Hi guys, looking to get my hands on a back up power rake for the upcoming season (these things are next to impossible to find 2nd hand around here), I would need it shipped however up to alberta, canada :canadaflag:, had alot of equiptment come up my way via commerical trucking companies in the past on pallets with no issues, Let me know what you have and if you are willing to ship. Thanks much! Thumbs Up

I dont know if Home Depot Canada has tool rental but if they do i would check there. They rent top brands Classen etc and maintain them well.

Ya check your local tools and equipment rentals, I'm sure you can find some used power rakes and offer them a price on it.

oh, i did, and even went to the point of getting in touch with the district manager of the area from home depot to get him to sell me a few units cause none of the local stores would offer anything up , its definately a bit of a "bubble" we live in here (recession? whats that?), those items come available and are litterally gone within HOURS, nevermind weeks, or months as they sit in some places, the stuff that is available used is often offered at 75% of retail......and the funny part.... it routinely sells for that :dizzy:,

In hind sight, I think we're talking two different things here. I'm selling a "Landscape rake" for a skid steer not a power rake for dethatching lawns...

You could try "The Lawnmower Hospital " on Yellowhead (in Edmonton)!! They have a good web site too. Haven't bought anything big from them in a while but seem pretty easy to deal with when I phoned them !!
