Hey all! I just moved to the suburbs where I have about an acre & a half of level ground to mow. I haven't cut grass in over 20 years & now need a mower. Shopping for one, however, has been like shopping for a new car - lots of choices & the process of choosing one sucks! I don't need a top of the line model with every whistle & bell, but I don't want a standard home center "Lawn Yugo" either. I'd rather spend a little extra for something that's going to last. I've looked at a entry level Toro & was not too impressed. The Hustler Raptor was so-so. The BobCat CRZ was the most impressive of what I looked at so far. The deck & overall build seemed much more durable than the others but I'm not too familiar with the brand. I'd like to check out the Dixie Chopper Z-2 but haven't found one yet. Also heard some good things about the Husqvarna RZ series, but haven't checked that brand out either. Open to any thoughts or recommendations. Thanks!
