Outlaw 61" is $7999, the Pup can come with a 31hp Kawasaki too, but that one retails for $7499, but my choice would be the 30hp Kohler for $6999, or jumping up to the Pup on crack and get the Outlaw for $500 more, it would be hard for me to consider the Pup 31 now......lol.

Mechanicaly, they are decent. The sales rep for bad boy came to a dealership I was at a few years ago, left a few demos, really not impressed, very big and not very refined. As far as how they are sold, dealer support (in my area anyhow) they are lacking. I only respect machines sold by servicing dealers. I have seen the residential units sold at Tractor supply, and that bugs me.

As a mechanic I am surprised you say they are decent. I am an industrial mechanical specialist and the BadBoy is mechanically far superior to any other mower in it's price. You guys compare a $7000 BadBoy to a $11000-$14000 machine and the BadBoy still matches up well. BadBoy prices are not cheap they are just more correctly priced. For $14000 you can buy a 5500 pound tractor. The price on some of these big name mowers is out of hand.

I just got off the phone with my dealer, he told me he could sell a Bad Boy Outlaw, with a 31 Kawasaki engine, and 72" deck for $7799.00.

Just got off the phone with Landmark equipment, they have 4 locations in the metroplex, they said they are really impressed with the BB's, and are starting to move quite a few units units. I know they carry Toro, along with quite a few other brands. They said they can't believe how much mower is offered for the price. I think this is their first full season to carry them.

ok so I'm still considering the bad boy pup, but here are my two new options on the scags.

60hr demo, 60'', 25 kohler, tiger cub for $6720 OTD

    and

brand new, 61'', 27 kohler, suspension seat, tiger cat for $7740 OTD

    opinions on these two quotes?
