I am in the market for a new ztr. I usually buy mowers used with low hours. I have a 2009 exmark lazer that I bought a year ago with 125 hours. I can only find mowers with over a 1000 hours on them this year so I have to buy a new mower. I have 60 lawns ranging from a 1/4 acre to 10 acres so I need a 60 inch. I was trying to stay below the $9000 mark, but being in the northeast prices are not as friendly for under $9000. I am located in PA.

My choices are: All gas engines
    2014 Kubota Z725, 25 Kolhler $8800
2009 Hustler super Z with the 31 Kohler I believe. Demo with 20 hours $8000
    2013 Toro 3000 series with 27 Kohler Efi $8800
    2013 Exmark E series 27 Kohler $8600
Gravely Pro turn 100 series with 25 Kohler $8600

Just was looking for some feed back on these mowers. The hustler is a big machine with a lower price then new, but also 5 years old. The dealer has is stored in with new mowers so it is in brand new shape. Both dealers have great support and same distance from me.

Any Scag or Gravely dealers nearby? Had the chance to try pretty much everything out there and those were my favorites. Super comfortable and well built along with good price points.

Only dealer not nearby is Scag. They are huge jerks from sales to parts anyway. So Scag is out.

I am a big gravely fan but, you probably will not like the 160, I put about 65 hours on one 2 years ago it also had a 25hp kohler felt very under powered, the 260 is a great mower with a 27+ hp, My first new gravely ztr was a 152 loved it but it had 24 Kawasaki, I put 1000 hrs on it , but once I bought a 460 with 31 Kawasaki there was no comparison, there is only a $800 difference in price here between 160 and 260. My dealer always says go with the biggest engine available," better to have it and not use it than need it and not have it."

The 260 is over my budget. Thanks for the advice on 100.

Both dealers explained that. For the price the hustler looks like a bigger well made machine, besides the dumb looking wing on it like I a driving a subaru wrx.

have a 260z with 375 hrs for 5000 or trade for a 52 in ztr. 60 inch is too big for my properties
