I have a 52" Snapper WB. Thinking about getting a 5x8 trailer. Will a 5x8 be big enough? Im pulling it with a 2000 ford ranger 4x4 with a 3.0. Thank you for your advice!

If that is all you plan to put on it for your mowing career, go for it. But, you will always be able to put more on a trailer, might want to find something bigger.

I would go with the 5X8. With the small 3.0 and the added weight of a transfer case, going with a 14-16ft. trailer isn't necessary, is added weight, and cuts your mileage down unnecessarily. Don't strain your truck if it's not necessary.
