Congrats on the trailer, David! Sounds like a really good deal (I'm a bit jealous, haha; I'd like another trailer about that size)...
I did get your message, I just had a heck of a day yesterday and never had an opportunity to get back with you.
I'm looking forward to seeing some pics...

I brought it to the shop today and scraped the inside of the dump body down real good and applied rust inhibitor primer that stops the rust and converts it to a primer , seems to work really well , tomorrow I got a gallon of black enamel coming and I am gonna just brush it on or roll it , this weeekend I will build the sides out of treated lumber as long as my schedule permits it and I want to get it lettered out for advertisment , when its all done I will get my wife to take some pictures and I will post em up ... the dump works flawlessly and I am surprised at how fast it lifts and lowers ...

I can't speak for everyone else but I can't keep up anymore , I have been subbing stuff out to a buddy of mine now to help out or I would very quickly get overwhelmed , I sub out 90% of all my tree jobs now and just get 20% off the top for giving the job away ... Today I had to go out and cut grass for 2 of my customers that I just wasn't able to get to last week cause I had so much tractor work , So I pulled out on mothers day and went get em done and one of my customers , which is a new account I've only cut 3 times , pulls me on the side today and tells me that he would like to give me something so when I finished cutting to get up w/ him , so we cut and I did and he tells me he wants to give me all his old lawn equipment which by the way all happened to be new equipment or at least superbly kept , So I was like , listen I appreciate your generosity but this stuff is worth alot of money and he says , that the motor on the lawnmower is locked up and probably can't be fixed , to which I told him by looking at it and the condition it was in that I seriously doubted it was froze up , but he says take it I insist and then he tells me that I have to take his edger and pressure washer and craftsmen straight shaft trimmer as well , plus blades and trimmer line and oil the works because he doesn't plan on ever cutting his grass again , reason being he has a bad back and pulling the rope would throw his back out , so I offer to cut his grass for nothing at least for the next 2 months or so , and he insists I take it and the check for cutting the grass , so I finally agreed to and just loaded it up and thanked him , and drove away speechless ... I get home and the lawnmower was only hydro locked because he saturated the paper filter and the pre filter w/ so much oil that the carb couldn't suck any air thru the carb so it would just draw a vaccum and load the cylinder w/ fuel thereby causing it to lock up , so I took it down sprayed so ether in the carb and back pedaled the motor to free it up and dump the fuel out the exhaust and then I turned it on its side and let it drain out then it fired right up and after about 3 minutes of smoking from turing it on its side and the load of old varnished gas it cleared out and runs like a brand new mower , so I adjusted everything kicked the w.o.t setting up a tad and put it in the shop , edger fired up first pull runs perfect and has maybe been used 2 times since he's owned it , weed eater ran good but I gave it to my neighbor how came over to check out my good fortune and before he got jealous I gave him the trimmer , I haven't fooled w/ the pressure washer as of yet but he said it didn't have any pressure anymore but ran perfect , so I already know what that is and tommorrow I will break all the lines and the gun down and remove all the filters .... All I could say was God why are you so good to me ... I'm still speechless ...:dancing:

haha, i wish I were in your positions, you seem to be overloaded with work, and I'm so... not.

I've only got a few clients from the door hangers I bought, and people all seem to "already have someone".

Fortunately, two places I went into today told me I could put some of the hangers in their lobbies, and I went to a new neighborhood today and put up flyers.

I was wondering, do any of y'all know anyone selling clients, or if anyone has too much to handle, I'll happily take it for a cut of the profit.

Plus, beyond door hangers, what's something else I could do to get in touch with people who want their lawn cut? And more importantly, people who need big cleanup jobs done?
