To any perma-green ride-on users, are you still using the pint/M rate of the older units or have you gone up to the Qt/M volume? If you have do you see a significants in control or does the higher volume seem more hazardous being higher output?

Mine is set up for 1 quart per K. It came from the factory that way. I don't see how you can get good control at a pint per K. I think that you need more than a pint per K to get good coverage. I think that is why they set up all the new PermaGreens to put down 1 quart per K.

  3. 1 pint per 1000 is = to @ 5 gal per acre. Way too low

1 qt per 1000 is = to @ 10 gal per acre, and I've had sucess at this rate!

    EJK,
Thanks for the input, I'm going to go up with the rate simply for that reason in geting better coverage. I know my old units at the lower rate have worked ok but with a highter volume I would expect a better penitration through the canopy to lower growing weeds. I was wondering if there was anyone that has used any surface insect controls with the higher rate as well.

  5. I got mine set at the 32oz per 1000 rate.

I am getting 75% to 99% kills, however it veries from lawn to lawn, and grass height.

I have been doing my neighbors apps also, "mr hose jocky", and he thinks it's still to low. he wants 100% all the time.

I am happy with the 75% +, I can get any left over on round #3.
