I need two new steer 10ply tires on my NPR Isuzu .Any suggestions?I haven't bougrt any new tires in a good while. In talking to tire dealers I've found it is almost impossible to find tires not made in China.Has anybody been using these China tires?I was told there are only two companys left in the USA that make this size tire.Cooper and one other that I can't remember WHAT A CROCK.
    Thanks,

You don't want cheap tires on a cabover because you run into problems. The little 16 inch rubber is already over taxed on a cabover they pack more weight than they are supposed to

You can look at the Bridgestone Duravis R250, Yokohama Y788R, Michelin XPS Rib.

The Transforce are supposed to be better than the old Steeltex tires they wore good but they were horrible in the rain.

Like I said the Cab overs are hard on tires. I know the guys here wouldn't get anymore than 16,000 miles out of the steer tires.

Hopefully the Firestones work out for you because if they don't you will feel every bump and imperfection in the tire through your azz
