Has anyone out there decided to buy a machine and then build a business around it, rather than start a particular business first and then buy equipment? I'm trying to buy a Kubota L48, and presently have no business to use it on. I know I'll find a thousand ways to make money with it. Any thoughts or comments?

It's tough not having the equipment you need to operate a business, so I say get the equipment. Be glad that you're not opening a brothel without the proper equipment, you'd have to run it by hand.

:) What a concept. But on the other hand, if I opened the brothel properly equipped, I would still have my hands full :p

Equipment first, and good equipment I might suggest! There are many 0% interest deals available..

*You'll find many ways to make money with it.
*If you buy it this year, you can take 100% of the cost of equipment on this years taxes.
*Everything you buy for your business, you can use personally

    It just works.

I run a TC55 New Holland Tractor on a part time business. It is a fun way to pay for the equipment, generate tax breaks, make some extra money.

    Thanks
