Ice storm's suck...

I saw some pics on the news, before it had melted, in Augusta Georgia at the Master Golf tournament club house. Looked terrible. Nature has it's own way of pruning trees
I hope my tee time doesn't get cancelled lol.
Those fellers have the money to plant bigger trees than whats already there.
Isnt Agusta National actually in a bad neighborhood?
Eisenhower couldn't get the tree removed but mother nature did.
The most famous tree in Golf is gone.
I feel like we should have a moment of silence! Will be interesting to see if they choose to replant before the game.
my brother lives right outside of Augusta (his kids school is off the whole week of the Masters) and they were stuck in their house for nearly three days. schools were cancelled and he even had off work for two days. just crazy, the weather down there and, as Jamie said, will be interesting to see what they do before the game
When it snow's in GA people just lose it. When I lived near Savannah in the early 2000's, it snowed for about 30 minute's with no accumulation and you would have thought a blizzard had struck. School was cancelled for 2 day's and every bit of milk and bread was gone. That was the first snow a lot of those people had ever seen.
I wonder how green the rye grass is, overseeded lawns in my area haven't done anything, I have a few that I cut, but not this year.
Overseeded bermuda fairway's at 10 Lbs. per 1000 almost alway's look good. All that green at ANGC except for the bentgrass green's is rye overseeded into bermuda.
I though down some 10-10-10 six weeks ago. This is the best my yard ever looked this time of year.
