Mailing Postcards

    I did not use any demographic list. Just a list of addresses to homes in the areas we work.

    However, to answer your question, the majority of the calls did come from that description of customer that you mentioned.

    I had the cards sent to specific streets that are in upper class neighborhoods.

    One thing I did learn is to address the cards to "Resident" rather than trying to use any name. The postman was returning cards of people who had moved.

    Yes, I just use a 37 cent first class stamp. I print out address labels for the areas I am targeting. I keep the flyers simple using large bold type with as few words as possible to get the message across.

    Don't put too much detail info into a flyer or you will lose the readers' interest. Name, phone #, services performed and the fact that you are licensed and insured seems to work well for me.
