good to meet you....staying busy this season?
how are you guys doing with all this hot heat
Nice meeting you too, 15yr old hopeing to make a decent size company out of this business. I'm only doing 4 lawns this yr.
2 of my lawns are getting sorta brown, and I haven't mowed below 4"!
ya a lot of mine are drying up too! =( I am ready for a little break, but really don't want to go to 10 days yet. Personally I LOVE the heat, I work harder and get crazier =D But the guys don't much care for the heat. At least it's better than getting rained out every day like this spring. Z-man, you deal with Bradstreet much? what are you running for a mower?
No I havent dealt with Bradstreet. I use my parents Eztrak 425 48", next season or the season after I'm gonna buy an exmark turftracer or Lazerz
hey everyone i need some help bad... I live in bangor and have been mowin lawns since i was 13 for people. I got a full time job delivering car parts for a local company. i hate it. I got a few good lawns that i still mow. One is Exide Batterys. Ive had them for 4 years now and he is 100% sattisfied with my work. I got a few residential that i do as well. Problem is i want to become a full time landscaping company. I want to travel all over the state and do pretty much anything, obviously not mowing an hour away but you know. anyways i have bad credit and no family support to help me get a trailer and at least a rider. Ive done a lot of work and busted my @$$ with hand rakes shovles push mower etc. does anyone have any advice to help me get going with some mowing jobs and maybe how to find landscaping jobs. thanks
and i am also fully insured with 1 million coverage. forgot to mention that.
Hey guys, just wanted to see what everyone else carry's in their toolboxes in their trucks?
i keep a whole tool box with screw drivers, ratchets, two jack stands, a chain, 3 ton jack, socket set, everything i will ever need to fix my truck if it breaks down or my equipment. plus i got oil, trimmer string, etc
I'm going to get a below the rail 56" box, and am thinking I'm gonna keep a ratchet set, cresent wrenches, floor jack, tow strap, ratchet straps, chain, fire extunguisher, and some other things. Also going to mount a full size axe to the under side of the lid.
