    How do you get snow in Knoxville like that, not a flake at my house this season.

    I've been fairly pleased with them. I used Gravely WB's for years and switched to the Snappers 2 years ago. My main reason was that my Gravely dealer sold out and I had had a great working relationship with him and I just wasn't feeling it with the new owner and I was also needing a dealer that was closer. So, I bought the Snappers from Mayo's on Emory Rd. Here are my complaints. 1. I had a terrible muffler problem with the first one that I bought. The muffler was breaking off at the base (happened to 3 mufflers). The mfr. finally came out with a new bracket that keeps the muffler from vibrating. 2. This has nothing to do with the mower itself but with service. Took my mower in to the dealer in March to get a new muffler installed and it took them over 2 months and when they brought it back, they had not replaced the muffler. They gave me a loaner (which was luck) but I have to say their service dept. is severely lacking. I've sent other mowers for repair and they kept it a couple of weeks then it comes back with nothing done to it. (One huge positive about the service dept. I was having a tracking problem with one of my Snappers. They took it and replaced both transaxles, $1800. Thing is, only problem was a bent rod that they discovered after the fact. Now I have basically a brand new mower because they covered the expense.) 3. Now this one was a head scratcher. The mower would start and run but when you cut it off, it wouldn't start back. Finally, discovered that the choke was sticking. A little spring that kicks the choke off was getting dirt in it. This was a issue with both of my snappers. I just have to keep the springs and area around it cleaned off. So, those are my only negatives. Besides that, I love the mowers. They will hold a hill like no other. They have a great cut. They have a really good ground speed and can be adjusted. The deck height is the easiest to adjust. They seem to have plenty of power and don't bog down. The newer models have addressed the muffler issue and have worked out many of the other little kinks...Overall, I would definitely buy another one. Hope that helps.

    Well, I'm a little north of Knoxville. The picture where I had the plow out, was last month before Thanksgiving. We ended up with about 2 inches.

    Taking it easy hopefully i can get things rolling again in the spring to cover the ones that i lost this passed season dude to moving older people going to assisted living places.
