making lawn crew work weekends?

    15 lawns should be done by 1 or 2pm. I cut 42 today with my third guy showing up at 11pm.... These are not small lawns. 20 plus are a acre plus.... How u make money like that?2 Zs with one guy whipping. We do 135 every week in 4 days. Some weeks 2 guys will get it done in 45 hrs. You need to move faster. Plan and simple.....

    So you would just not finish your route because your guys are lazy ?? That's insane. I make both crews finish their routes regardless if its 3 days or 7 days they work. Make hay while the sun shines. If they want weekends off go work at Wal-Mart (oh wait they work weekends) Guys these days are so lazy.

    You don't finish on Saturday your working Sunday you don't finish Sunday you can start where you left off on Monday! I do not promise weekends off never had and never will. Now occasionally things go right and the weather doesn't screw us and they get a weekend off and it's really appreciated since they know they earned it. Not finishing the lawns its not an option it takes way to much money to build the list and if your unreliable you end up losing accounts.

    He's not really saying what sizes yards there are and how spread out either.Or time frame as to how many hrs a day they are working.

    I would not ask my help to work on weekends unless I was there to help finish up the work week as well. It may be my business and my customers but when I have help to get caught up, I am there to finish the work week together.
