Can everyone chime in on what your exp. have been with man made products fading in the sun (not a shade install) such as SRWs (any brands, pavers and cultured stone.)? It seems that when I ask this question to the manuf. they all say no fading but I looked at veralok and there brown seems pink and I think it is because of fading. . Has anyone had alot of fading (over 5 year installed)?

    Absolutely.

I don't care what ANYONE says, THERE IS FADING!

anything outdoors will either fade (cars, upholstery, siding) or wash out (stone, concrete, block, etc)

And I always tell my clients that it WILL fade or wash out.

So has anyone seen more fading in a product than another? Does sealer stop the fading completely (if reapplied when needed).

What is considered acceptable, still being to say a product is brown although lighter? (I have seen some tan look pink with time).

What brands have you seen that you would put your name on because of fading?

Nothing will stop the sun from doing what it does.

That being said, is sealer even worth the time?

eventually all brands and colors of pre cast concrete products end up looking very similar.
