I have the opportunity to bid on a large townhome complex and it includes managing a pond. (drainage pond) The homeowners association representitive said that all they require is that the pond not change colors or harbor diseases. I have no idea where to start. Should I just monitor the pond or are their annual, monthly, etc. treatment that should be performed. Like I said, their requirements are very low, (no fishing, swimming) they just want a basic maintenance. Also, would this be too much for a mow and go guy? Thanks for any help.

Before everyone goes crazy and says that I need a license, I will say that I dont have a license for treating ponds but I do for lawns and ag.

sub it out if its an issue, your pesticide license most likely (i'm in NC and it don't here) is not for aquatics so if something was needed you couldn't do it anyways. Other than that, if they already have an aerator you should be in good shape.
