I am starting a new commercial mowing business and am considering Exmark or Ferrris zero-turn mowers. I am seeking opinions from cutters who own one or the other unit. My business will be fairly large in respect to territory covered and I will have 4-5 operators working with my equipment. I am looking for quality of equipment as well as quality of cut and performance. Thank You...

Ferris- Smooth ride and very productive from the independent suspension with a good cut and doesn't scalp easily. We have a IS 3000.

Exmark- Excellent cut but not as productive because the deck will bounce more easily and the operator will have a little rougher ride.

Both machines have their good and bad points. If you can demo both machines then decide.
