maple pinwheels in flower beds

    we have a few accounts where we have major pinwheel fallout from nearby maple trees, we have dyed red chips in the areas, and it looks almost white from a distance there are so many of those little buggers on there. we tried billy goating them out of there, but it didnt seem to work to well. can anyone help?

    Maples seeds are actually called samaras. You could try using a backpack blower held at a very shallow angle to blow across the top of the mulch.

    the little baby squirrels love them. we actually have about 10-12 of them in our front yard eating them all day. good luck
