What is the standard for charging a customer over the price of products like...

    Pine straw
    Bark
    plants
    trees
    etc.

I've searched and found bits and pieces of information. I know that there is a price to go get it and the truck you own etc... All this has to be put into the pricing.

Labor is a stand alone price.

Pine straw if you buy it for $3/bale you will probably find that most will sell it for $9/bale. As for bagged mulches I like to double the price of the product. Many plants and trees etc. you will find are installed for either double or tripple the cost of the materials depending on soil/terrain conditions.

    Hope this helps.
