Markup Question

    Yes...all along I've wanting to make a 15 to 20 percent minimum profit margin but to do that I was just marking up 15 to 20%.

    contractor soil $ 15.00
    super soil $ 18.00
    standard hardwoood mulch $ 15.50

    To obtain a 20% profit margin on materials simply divide your purchase price by .80 for a 40% margin divide by .60 for a 35% margin divide by .65

    Easy as pie.
