Does anyone out there run a marty j? made by Deines Manufactoring
Does it replace a Johnson Rod???
(hope adminstrators dont get mad at me for this one...)
Yes, I have two of them, one built in 1972 and the other in 1974. They are the toughest equipment I've ever owned.
I had a friend that had a deines magnum and it cut really good.
i saw one on a trailer towed by a truck from florida and headed back that way. it was an 1800ht (kt)
First of all, what the hell is it?
They are a very small company based in Kansas. They make a nice front-deck mower that is top of the line homeowner quality. Their mowers would probably hold up ok for commercial use, but they are underpowered by today's standards. Last time I checked, you could only get a 20 or 22hp engine on a 60" deck machine.
Thats what I was thinking also Rod
Here's the POS...
I seen a few around here, never used commercially. About the only time I really see them is at our state fair at their booth. I swear they have the same few machines there every year!
i demo one about 3 years ago, it was a good running machine but i just didnt like it, it seems like you sit up to high in the seat, but the price was good around $6000 for a 60inch mower
