Maryland Liscenses

    In Md what liscenses do you need to cut grass if any. And what other guidelines should I know about

    To my knowledge the only licenses you need is if you are actually doing landscape work you will need your home improvements license. Also if you are applying chemicals you will need your pesticides license. Hope this helps.

    What is defined as landscaping. Spreading mulch or reduing their whole yard. Thanks for the help

    Like putting in pavers, walkways, installing trees, doing entire gardens. Things of this nature. Technically its considered anything that is an improvement to the looks of the house =(.

    Chris is Correct...

    To cut grass or apply mulch you do not need a license. Check this web site and see what you find helpful... It discusses if you want buy wholesale and sell retail, what licenses are required for different levels of landscaping, etc.
