Hey quick question guys My uncle is looking at a massey-fergueson 1250 tractor to toy around with. It comes with loader,4x4, rear remotes and hydro tilt on rear also has the skid steer Mount on front bucket, has less then 900 hours on it and it is a 2001. My question is they want $12.5 for it Is that a good deal or should I tell him to keep looking. Any help would be appreciated Thanks

Are you shure its a 1250? 1250 may be the number of the loader cause i've never heard of a 1250 tractor. I'm not saying there's no such thing but i've never seen one. Is it a compact tractor or a mid sized utility tractor?

BTW, that sounds like a fair price for that size tractor.

The 1200 series MF CUTs are of Iseki origin; very good machines. The 1240/1250/1260 came standard with a 16x16 shuttle shift tranny, flat operator's platform, power steering,...

As far as the price: I believe when new, the tractor alone went for more than that, and then add another $3k for the loader.

Ok, now I know. I was familiar with the Iseki made models but wasn't sure of the numbers. I know the newer ones are 1400 series tractors but they are the same as the 1200 series like the 1250. They are good solid tractors and i'd tell your uncle to get it cause thats a pretty fair price if there's nothing wrong with it.
