Sounds like our government...profit off the work of others so they can give it to the poor.

If gas prices were allowed to rise due to market demand prior to the event, fuel might have still been available as folks would like ly have only bought what they needed, rather than hoarding...don't be blinded by the fact that gas stations would be making a lot more money...they could also have offered more to truckers bringing the gas, thus supply would likely not be impeded

No, capitalism is evil...it should not be right to make any profit.

I wonder if nighthawk would charge the exact same amount to fix a broken irrigation line in the middle of the night that was blasting water into the sky as he would for a regular scheduled repair?

Wonder if plumbers and electricians charge the same for emergency calls as they do for regular scheduled repairs? Those damn gougers...living off the misery of people.

What does a plumber charge for a sewage backup in the middle of the night? Ya think he charges the same amount?

How many plumbers answer the phone after 4.30? Sprinkler guys are the only ones who do.:cool2:

That might be the case, but do you charge the same amount for each call or for emergency calls?

Never did charge for after hour calls, my wife will attest to me putting my fork down ( gulping my wine) and heading to the site. Most of the time, I just shut everything down and scheduled the crew the next day. Sure made for some happy and ongoing clients who were my main referrals. :clapping:
