    what is the most effictive way to measure plant beds accurtley. do you break them up into smaller pieces or measureit in one big chunk.

    It is easier to break down irregular beds into simple shapes.
    After you have figured your square footage, give yourself a 15% increase to cover most undermeasuring. It is better to have a little more than a little less. Sometimes beds aren't exactly level and have sort of divets or slopes. The eccess mulch can and will be used efficiently.
