looking at sprayers to buy. How big an advantage is the mechanical agitaion in sprayers? I was told it really helped in cold temps. Looking at Lesco's sprayers and the jet with the poly tanks are much cheaper and hard to resist. Will I be sorry?

I asked this similar question too. From what I remember the jets tend to clog easily.

It really depends on what you spray. If you spray a lot of WP then mechanical is the way to go. If you use mainly solubles and EC's then jet is fine.

    Good Luck,

I use both, and never had a clog on my jet. just make sure you put 1/2 water in tank before you mix! get a big enougg pump that will allow you to agitate and spray at the same time. mechanical agitation is for hydroseeders. pesticides should mix with jets or they ain't compatible. dave g
