Just recieved a set of Meg-Mo blades for my Toro 44" w/b. My deck is the SFS . Anyone have any ideas on how I can expect these blades to stay in place when installed? The original set-up uses a reciever formed flang ( part of the spindle) the blade sits in w/ a scalp cup over it. Can't see just bolting this meg-mo to that spindle w/out it being that secure. Possibly working loose?

Unless Meg-Mo notches the plate to accept your blade cradles, you have to cut off your cradles (or grind them down) to use the Meg-Mo.

Did you tell the owner of Meg-Mo that you have a Toro prior to ordering?

I called the person and told him what he need to do to make them work. He had not told me that he had that type of spindle but no big deal.
