I have an '01 16hp ghs w/600 hrs. Is there enough hp to run these blades? If so, what is the difference in cut compared to the stock blades? Will the hopper fill slower (less going in, more mulched)?

In wet conditions you will have alot less going in the hopper. Most of it will be stuck to the bottom of your deck, until it drops out in a clump. I didnt think they took anymore power to run than normal blades. But what does come out of the chute is mulched up real good. This was on my Kubota.

I ran a search in past posts and someone mentioned that 16hp probably wouldn't be enough. What about the mo's on a 48" sd with the same mower?

    Thanks again
