Merit, how long will it hold without water?

    We are currently in a substantial drought that has made me cease from applying Merit for control on grub even though now the beetles are going through their ritual of trashing the plum trees and laying the eggs in the lawns. My question is , how long will merit hold up without getting watered in if i were to apply it now. I know, as most of you do, most homeowners won't water and therefore i usually apply a day or two ahead of the fronts(rains) when they come through, problem is, they are getting few and far between and time is becoming the issue. Any feedback would be appreciated. I always put a disclaimer to each grub application that there is no guarantee if the homeowner does not water the prodcut in, but enforcing that can be a hassle too.

    The thing is, even if you can prove the lack of results is the customers fault, you'll still get the blame and possibly lose the account.

    That is why I went with Mach2. Immediate irrigation is not needed.

    We Also used Mach 2 this year because of the drought conditions.Ive been told that merit starts to break down as soon as the bag is opened. Pray for rain.
