I have a 1995 36" Metro. The s/n is 102883 and model # M36-12.5K-5. How do I remove/replace the transmission belt. I have looked underneath the engine but I cannot figure out how to do this. Please help. Also, how much oil does this mower require when changin oil.

One more thing, I sent you a pm with all necessary info regarding receiving an operator's manual for this mower. If you need me to send the info again, please let me know.

    Thanks for your help,

    Bama,

You should be receiving your manuals any day.

The transmission belt is tensioned by a "fixed" idler mounted to the engine deck in a slotted hole. All you need to do is loosed the bolt nut on the fixed idler and slide it out of the way. The transmission belt should slide right off.

    Thanks,

    Terry
