I was wondering if everyone is required to have a home improvement liscence if your just planting flowers and installing mulch? Im jnot sure but i think here we are suppose to have one which puts a damper on our ability to pick up accounts.

I think the answer varies, by location of the job. Here in CA, one needs a CA contractor's license to contract for over $500, as well, various cities may require some type of license. In Surf City, where I do most of my work, only a business license is req'd.
