    I find it crazy that it is harder to get a permit to mow lawns in Southfield than to get a permit from Homeland Security to work for the military.

    Yes, many cities require them.

    Anyone know of a sod farm that has a blend that does real well in shade? Maybe a few hours a day of sunlight before trees block the area.

    Second that.... Debuck's has THE best sod around. Just make sure you ask for a shade tolerant sod. They do grow it, and it is a tad more expensive, but definitely worth the cost. Your customer will be pleased also! :)
