Hi guys. Been awhile and im back. good to be back n the site. Been wracking my brains, and ultimately my feet the past few years with boot issues. I have actually developed plantars warts and thankfully a mineral supplement took care of those, but quality is really lacking in everything nowadays. I've been told that military boots are comfortable and durable I should look into. Anyone ever use them?

i wear ariat workhogs, they are a pull on boot but never worn anything more comfortable. I broke some bones in my foot a couple years ago and they didn't heal quite right. i can walk around in these all day long pain free. not sure what your preferences for boots are, but you might look into some custom fitted ones, i believe red wing custom makes boots, along with some others. probably not cheap but when its your feet and you make a living being on them its well worth it.

I also wear Ariat Workhogs. Most comfortable boots ive ever worn. I served 8yrs in the Army so ive worn my share of boots. I cant wear a lace up boot anymore for long periods of time.

I also wear the Ariat work hogs. I have 4 pair of boots and each pair is Ariats.

Alabama Larry, obviously you've heard of warts... Plantars grow under your skin (and can be anywhere on your body, but mine ended up on the bottom of my feet). They have a root system too and spread if not removed thoroughly, which is what happened to me. Veeeeery painful.

I will look at those boots gents. Thanks tons.

Check out union boot. Best boots I have ever owned. I used to wear ariat work hogs 8" lace up composite toe. I had a problem with the sole on the last pair. Went to union boot, never go back to anything else. They are made in america, too.

I was active duty for 6 years, I wore boots day in and day out. Anyways, not the most comfortable work boots.

I actually turned some Timberlands into work boots. Light and very comfortable, breathed good too.

For the lco's that hve the ariats, how long to they last? As i memtioned in my original post, quality is GONE from pretty much all brands, including red wing.
