Got a friend with a horse pasture who is asking what to use to kill out milkweed. I told him its a little late for this year, as most of it is starting to mature and go to seed. Is there anything labeled for milkweed as a pre-emergent?

Is this what you are talking about? You can apply Glyphosate with a rope wick applicator at 50/50 solution, everyone with a pasture needs a rope wick to apply Glyphosate over the top of your grass for problem weeds.

More suggestions, I have to fight it in my crops and use heavy Roundup.

    Spot Treatments and Between Crops
    Herbicide Rate Timing1
    (Weed growth stage) Effectiveness
Roundup Ultra 2% Spot treatment (late bud to flower) Fair-Good
Roundup Ultra 3 qt/A Late bud to flower Fair-Good
Banvel 1-2 qt/A2 Late bud to flower Fair-Good
    Banvel + 2,4-D ester 0.5 pt/A + 1 pt/A Late bud to flower Fair

Banvel + 2,4-D can be broadcast sprayed and will not harm grass it only kills broad leaf weeds, every year pastures should be sprayed with this to take the weed competition away from the grass.
