Well I hate to give away a secret to efficiency but there are no other Lawnsite members in my area.

Just bought ($300 +/-) 18V Cordless Impact wrench- Milwaukee.

Blade removal is a breeze: No more breaker bar and wooden blocks while crouching and craming under a stinky mower deck.

Blades on/off in 10 seconds and PAINLESS!!!

Also, it Removes/installs lug nuts on my 3/4 ton Chevy (Big 7/8" lugs) in NO TIME FLAT!!!

  2. How much are the batteries?

BTW, how do you pronounce Albemarle?

    al-bee mar-lee?

Where does that name come from? Something to do with the ocean?

    Albemarle: Al-buh-marle

Named after the Earl of Albemarle, some sort of British crapp.

This is Albemarle County (aka Charlottesville, home of Thomas Jefferson and Monticello- on the back of the Nickel 5-cent coin).

There is also an Albemarle, NC.

I think they are about $50-$60 each, they can power dozens of different Milwaukee cordless tools.

AC Charger came with it, car cigarette charger available, not sure about cost, can't be too bad.

I bought the exact same cordless inpact last year. Best damn investment I made in 9 years. No more worrying about a rachet sliping and having a blade slit my wrists.

2nd best was my Lincoln cordless 6000 psi high pressure grease gun. Does spindles in half the time I used to do pumping that friggin handle.

I just encountered a problem. Its tough to get the ZTR (Gravely 260Z) high enough to make enough clearance for the impact wrench versus the ground. What do you do?

Drop the gate on your trailer (if you have a trailer) and run up one side having one tire on the gate and the other in midair. The go to the other side of the gate and do the same thing.
